Winning Logo Design
Designer: Ms. Xiao Hui
Description: The image consists of 3 parts: the text HKWS stands for the Hong Kong Web Society, the earth indicates HKWS is a worldwide organization, while together with the waves at bottom it implies HK as a pearl on the sea. Further, we can see WWW(darker blue) in the waves, which suggests the World Wide Web.
Award Ceremony
There was a
ceremony at the Hotel Nikko for presenting the award to the winner of the Hong
Kong Web Society Logo Design Competition.
Ms. Xiao Hui explained her design in front of the Hong Kong Web Society
Committee Members.
The Hong Kong Web Society Chairperson Dr. Qing Li presented an award certificate
to Ms. Xiao Hui.
The Hong Kong Web Society Chairperson Dr. Qing Li presented a cash prize of
HK$500 to Ms. Xiao Hui.
