Important Note: Accommodation Checkin To check in the room that you have booked in Edinburgh, you may go directly to Holland House / Chancellors Court. (Check out venue information to see how to get there.) We have already passed your name, checkin date and checkout date to the university. All you need to do is to show your ID to proof your identity at the Reception Centre (PDF Map) on your specified checkin date. Note that checkin time is from 2pm and checkout time is by 11am.

Due to the high demand of hotel rooms in Edinburgh during the August period, we have obtained a number of rooms (with discounted prices) from University of Edinburgh for ICWL 2007 guests. There are four types of rooms:

1. Holland House - Single En-Suite (currently 38 rooms left)
   Room Charge: £ 43 (or HK$ 688) per night
    
2. Chancellors Court
   • Single En-Suite (currently 15 rooms left)
     Room Charge: £ 60 (or HK$ 960) per night
      
   • Double En-Suite (currently no room left)
     Room Charge: £ 69 (or HK$ 1,104) per night
      
   • Twin Occupancy (currently 39 rooms left)
     Room Charge: £ 78 (or HK$ 1,248) per night
      

Additional Accommodation Information:

• Both Holland House and Chancellors Court are located at the Pollock Halls, which is a great location in central Edinburgh. (Address: Pollock Halls of Residence 18 Holyrood Park Road Edinburgh Scotland EH16 5AY)
• Rooms in Chancellors Court have TV, while rooms in Holland House do not have.
• A WiFi internet access acocunt can be purchased from the Reception Centre at a charge of £ 3.00 per day. The wireless internet access is available in the public areas throughout the site. However, it is not available in any of the bedrooms.
• A 3-course servery Dinner is available in the John McIntyre Centre each evening. The current charge is £ 10.45 per evening, and guests should buy a meal voucher at the Reception Centre before 12 noon on the days they require Dinner.
• Absorb Bar in Chancellors Court serves coffee, pastries and light snacks. In the evenings, Centro bar in the John McIntyre Centre is open, but does not serve food.
• Note that charges for internet access and catering are subjected to change without prior notice.
